The International Congress on Thrombosis

The Remedica Editorial Team

Now in its 20th year, the International Congress on Thrombosis, hosted by the Mediterranean League against Thromboembolic Diseases, attracts physicians from around the world. Several important new clinical trial results and basic research findings were presented over the course of the congress. This report summarizes the highlights relating to the management of venous thromboembolism (VTE), a serious but common complication of orthopaedic surgery.
