The role of T-cell reactivity towards the autoantigen α-NAC in atopic dermatitis

Heratizadeh A, Mittermann I, Balaji H et al.
The pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis is still not fully understood, and the disease is not fully curable. The current authors investigated autoantigen-specific T cell responses to investigate autoallergy as a cause of the disease, and found that autoantigen-specific T cell clones can be generated from the blood and skin of patients with atopic dermatitis.
