Wouldn’t it be nice if “a glass a day kept the doctor away”? Consuming something as palatable as red wine and realizing that you are doing good for your heart. Apparently, there is scientific evidence to support this idea. In the leading article of this issue of CML – Cardiology, Dipak Das eloquently sums up why consuming red wine might be good for our hearts [1]. However, despite all the evidence, some reservations need to be expressed.
