Editor’s note: Nocturnal hypoglycemia is a common occurrence in diabetes, even with the increasing use of insulin analogues. Infrequently, nocturnal hypoglycemia may provoke a seizure, and the pathophysiology of this complication remains unclear. This short report describes four patients with type 1 diabetes who experienced seizures while undergoing continuous blood glucose monitoring (CGM).
