Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Yamaguchi M, Kwong YL, Kim WS et al.

Mie University Graduate School of Medicine, Tsu, Japan.

 J Clin Oncol 2011;29:4410–6.

Editor’s note: Recent advances in concurrent chemoradiotherapy protocols have improved survival for patients with stage I and II extra-nodal natural killer/T cell lymphoma (ENKTL; J Clin Oncol 2009;27:5594–600, J Clin Oncol 2009;27:6027–32). However, the outcome of patients with advanced (stage IV) disease or relapse/refractory ENKTL is dismal; the vast majority of patients die within 1 year, with only a handful of survivors reported after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT).
