Editor’s note: The natural history of treated Parkinson’s disease (PD) in an unselected population is not well documented. In this article, Evans and colleagues assessed the progression of PD in a cohort of 132 patients for a mean of 5.2 years from diagnosis. Clinical and neuropsychological evaluations were performed every 18 months, and survival analysis was used to understand the prognostic implications of baseline variables.
