Editor’s note: Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor treatment has become a well-established method of treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Concerns still remain about the long-term safety and efficacy of this therapy, such as the incidence of serious opportunistic infections, malignancy, mortality, and morbidity. This study sought to address these concerns.
