More than 14 000 participants attended the 18th United European Gastroenterology Week (UEGW) in sunny Barcelona, Spain, from October 23–27, 2010. The annual UEGW is a joint congress of four organizations: the United European Gastroenterology Federation, the World Gastroenterology Organization, the World Organization of Digestive Endoscopy (OMED), and the British Society of Gastroenterology.
