Association between disease modifying antirheumatic drugs and diabetes risk in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis

The use of tumor necrosis factor inhibitors or hydroxychloroquine is associated with a lower incidence of diabetes mellitus in patients with rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis compared with the use of other non-biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs.
