Influence of host immunosuppression on CT findings in invasive pulmonary aspergillosis
Milito MA, Kontoyiannis DP, Lewis RE et al.
The authors of this article evaluated the computed tomography (CT) features of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) in order to determine whether different types of immunosuppression are associated with specific radiological findings. Peripheral nodular lesions were the most common CT finding regardless of the type of immunosuppression. Therefore, the presence of these lesions should raise the suspicion of IPA.
